We started back into school this week. Here are some pictures of my summer projects. I was not able to finish painting Kayla's room. It was very difficult to paint with 4 children hanging out in the room with me, so I started planning evenings or nap times when Gary was home or everyone was resting.
Lana's curtains turned out well. Unfortunately the butterflies took much longer to make than I had anticipated so I still need to make more eventually and get some more color in as well. This was fun and the kids were super patient and encouraging during my endevours.
We have chosen to move forward with a finalization for Blake in Utah and probably follow up with a deeper search for the birth father after Utah finalization is complete. Ideally we will find the birth father after this is finished, it would be more challenging, and expensive, for him to over turn a finalization (although in this situation it is possible). Our CO agency has found a lawyer in Utah and we are beginning the process of working with him. We do not know how long this will take or if we will all need to travel for the court date to give signatures. Thank you for all your prayers!
