Here are a few pictures from some of our recent activities.  The days have been busy, but we have had so much fun.  The last picture is of our latest addition to the family, Bob the Bull snake (yes, he does have a theme song!).

Home from California

My grandfather passed away last week during our family vacation to CA.  His death was not completely unexpected, but there was still so much loss for the family.  My grandmother, who I love and admire so much, was amazing and found joy in God's blessings the entire week.  She loved playing with the kids and they adored her.  God gave us times of laughter despite the circumstances.  The children are so full of life, they were a great comfort and source of joy.  I did not take any pictures until our last day so these are the only ones I have to share.  I want to thank all our friends and family for the prayers they poured out on our family last week, we felt them!

 

 

Camping

Gary tries to get the older kids out camping a few times during the summer.  One of these years I will finally be ready to take all the kids and start up the tradition as a family.

Gary found another little garter and now the new addition shares a tank with Stella.  They are so cute together.
