Lana has been asking to go to the park every day for weeks. We have a few times bundled the kids up and slipped over to the always snowy park. Unfortunately, it is often too cold and or the equipment is too snowy to allow us to do this often. As a recent concession Gary and I decided to get a slide that we could keep in the living room during the winter months for the kids to play on. Needless to say, the slide has been a huge hit and is used for literally hours every day. Bryant has been asking me if we could hang a swing from the ceiling of our living room. Somehow I don't think Gary and I are quite ready for that yet, maybe next year.
For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for wholeness and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope. (Jer 29:11)

What a wonderful idea!! Creative parenting. Aunt Chris
Ah, come on! It would be fun! Family nights redefined . . . and probably some wall structure, decorative structure redefined as well. Hang one for each of you and that would be really cool! :)
What a great idea Jamie! How blessed your little ones are to have a mommy who is willing to have a slide in her living room! :)
Awww. It is so hard not to take them sometimes when you know they want to go so much but the weather is too yucky. Great idea!! Actually Joiah loves to swing but not in the swing we got for him. Oh well. The snow is so beautiful there.
