Our days in pictures

 We have days that may make us feel out of sorts.

 

 

 

 

Even days when we feel a little loopy,

 

 

 

 

or off balance.

 

 

 

 

We have our silly days,

 

 

 

and some that are really quite serious.

 

We have days where no matter how you shake the bottle it really is empty.

 

 

 

You know those days when you realize something is missing, but you just don't know what it is, we have those too. 

 

 

 

Then suddenly out of the blue we have a day where we feel so good we just throw back our head and thank God for giving us another day.

I just took some video of Blake yesterday and could not refrain from posting this clip!

Blake is now officially a Gilchrist!

We had a whirlwind trip to Utah and are now home.  The kids did great with the nine hour drive yesterday and again today, thank you for all the prayers!  Blake's court visit was wonderful!  The process was more official than we expected, but there were no issues, and Gary even had the judge laughing at one point.  We are so grateful to the Lord!  Thank you for all the prayers and a special thank you to the friends who let four crazy kiddoes and two tired parents crash with them last night!  We have been blessed!

Time to travel

We will be heading back to Utah on the 14th so we can finish the finalization process with a court date on the 15th.  The lawyer we are working with has been excellent and scheduled our appointment for early in the morning so we could get on the road and be home Monday night.  I have no doubt that the whirlwind 2 days will be exhausting, but also a very exciting conclusion to this process for now.  We are very excited (the kids started packing immediately after hearing we were going back to Utah) and will write more soon.

When Uncle Chris is over he often takes time to play computer games with the kids on the couch. They all take turns and love the time.  Kellie is in the back ground doing my dishes, she is so amazing!

 

We went to the zoo yesterday, below are a few pictures.  For science this year we are studying zoology so this was actually a family field trip.
