For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for wholeness and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope. (Jer 29:11)

Questions

What happens when I poke my sister?

How loudly can I scream?

What does poop really taste like?

These are the kind of real life questions not simply asked, but acted upon daily in the Gilchrist home. Along with each of these questions there follows an exuberant 'lets try it and find out'.

What is a toilet plunger for?

How far can I throw my lunch across the table?

What happens when I take my diaper off during nap time?

How hard can it be to eat rocks?

I wonder what Mommy will say when I empty half of the bath water onto the bathroom floor?

The fish still look hungry, should I just dump in half the can?

What will it feel like to smash mud or dirt into my hair... how about my sister's?

Can boogers stick to the wall?

We are a family who asks the hard questions and are not afraid of the answer. We love to try new things and figure out even the most dizzying concepts. I hope that in your family you also can enjoy the rush that comes from learning.

HAHA! I was chuckling the whole way through... Truly an inspired post. However difficult it is at the time, it certainly makes for some great stories. Praying for you guys! =)

Okay... who wrote this post? I can hear both Jamie and Gary. :-) Wow, your lives are MUCH more exciting than our's were at your stage of the game! I'm... jealous? Hmmm, I think not. Though, the royalties from the book that you may one day write may make me think differently!
Love you guys!

Our house is the same...almost...Josiah is still an only child so sometimes it doesn't go quite so far. His favorite so far is dumping out half of my shampoo or dish soap trying to make bubbles, or trying to pee in the air vent.
